Rental Incentive

LHP will offer landlord rental incentives when the landlord agrees to forgo their typical application requirements to rent to one of LHP’s prospective tenant referrals. Two categories of incentives exist, pending the barriers that the prospective tenant faces.

Tier One

A landlord will receive a $1,000.00 rental incentive at or before move-in & a second $500.00 rental incentive at 6 months of tenant occupancy. In order to receive the rental incentive(s) a landlord agrees to not screen out for the following:

  • Past eviction(s)
  • Misdemeanor offense(s)
  • Non-violent felony offense(s) 
  • Bad credit ratings/no credit ratings 
  • Income requirements 
  • Citizenship status

Tier Two

A landlord will receive a $1,500.00 rental incentive at or before move-in & a second $1,000.00 rental incentive at 6 months. In order to receive the rental incentive(s) a landlord agrees to not screen out for the following:

  • Previous drug related offense(s)
  • Past violent criminal offense(s)
  • Previous sexual offense(s)

Existing LHP Landlord’s: Incentive Request Information

If you are an active LHP landlord and have agreed to rent a specific unit to a matched tenant and have signed the lease, please proceed for your rental incentive payment.

  1. Prepare your documents
    1. Your move-in Inspection
    2. Signed Tenant Lease
    3. Property W9
    4. UWA Check Request Form
    5. Option ACH form
  2. Complete the Landlord Rental Incentive Agreement.
    1. Upload the prepared documents onto the landlord rental incentive agreement as instructed.
